SHARING, NOT ODDS
The one thing about picking numbers that is actually true.
Nothing you do to a ticket changes its chance of winning. Every combination is
equally likely, always. What your numbers can change is how many people you
split a jackpot with.
Most players pick birthdays, so 1–31 is heavily over-chosen and tickets made
of low numbers have low sums. When one of those combinations comes up, the prize
gets divided many more ways. Combinations with a higher sum, numbers above 31 and
a wider spread get chosen by far fewer people.
That is what the crowd badge on each draw is measuring, and what these three
controls steer. Same odds either way — a bigger share if it ever lands.
This is a simulator for entertainment. It does not sell predictions and cannot
improve anyone's chance of winning.
